The Heart Behind The Healing

Walking alongside others as they navigate the depths of their experiences and begin to rediscover a sense of meaning and fulfillment is at the heart of the work I do. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive spaces where you feel seen, understood, and not alone in what you’re carrying.

Through both my professional training and personal experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of a strong support system, sustainable coping tools, and gentle, intentional healing. These elements create the foundation for meaningful change and lasting growth. My hope is to offer a space where you feel supported as you process your experiences and reconnect with yourself in a deeper, more compassionate way.

I earned my degree from California Lutheran University and began my work in private practice, where I support individuals navigating grief and loss, life transitions, and the emotional complexities of pregnancy and the postpartum period. I am especially passionate about helping clients move through experiences that feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to put into words.

I am trained in Brainspotting, a gentle, body-based approach that helps identify, process, and release trauma held in the body and brain. This approach can be especially helpful when emotions feel stuck or difficult to access through traditional talk therapy. I integrate Brainspotting into my work in a way that feels collaborative, attuned, and paced to your comfort, allowing space for deeper healing to unfold.

At the core of my approach is the belief that growth is not accidental—it happens when insight, intention, and support come together. I work with clients who are open to exploring their inner world, gaining a deeper understanding of their experiences, and engaging in the process of meaningful change both inside and outside of sessions.

Therapy is not about fixing who you are—it’s about creating space to understand yourself more fully, to heal what has been carried for too long, and to move forward with greater clarity, connection, and purpose.

A Little About Me

My dogs are a big part of my world. I have a 9-year-old corgi, Buffler, and a 1.5-year-old mini dachshund, Archie. They’re both full of personality and bring so much light and energy into my life. Archie tends to be the wild, spirited one, while Buffler has more of a “grumpy librarian” presence at home. You may occasionally see them make a brief appearance during video sessions.

I value quality time with family and the simple, grounding moments in everyday life. I enjoy getting outside for walks and exploring new places nearby, and I make it a priority to create space to slow down and recharge. I especially love slow mornings with an iced coffee and a simple, comforting breakfast, and I find a lot of peace in being present in those quiet, everyday moments. In the evenings, I’m drawn to softer, calming spaces and find comfort in low lighting with lots candle warmers lit around my home.

When someone is struggling, I’m naturally drawn to listen first—holding space with patience and care before offering reassurance, insight, or guidance that feels aligned with what you need. I believe that each person carries an innate capacity for healing, and that given the right support and environment, that process can begin to unfold in a meaningful and lasting way.

Rather than leading the path, I see my role as walking alongside you—offering warmth, compassion, and support as you discover your own way forward. There is something deeply powerful in being met with genuine care during difficult seasons, and I believe that this kind of presence can be an essential part of healing.

At the core of my work are compassion, connection, and growth. I believe that healing is nurtured through feeling truly seen and understood, and that deeper self-understanding—paired with meaningful support—can create lasting and transformative change.

My faith is an important part of both my life and my work. It has been shaped and strengthened through the challenges I’ve faced, and continues to be a steady source of strength, guidance, and resilience. Through those experiences, I’ve come to understand that we are not meant to navigate life’s difficulties alone.

I believe that faith, connection, and self-understanding work together to support the healing process. When desired, I welcome the integration of spirituality into our work, creating space for both emotional and spiritual growth as you move forward.
